Reading Cooperative (RCB) is pleased to announce the hiring of John DaLomba as SVP, Chief Credit Officer. DaLomba brings an extensive credit background in various types of lending and over 20 years of experience, including floorplan financing, lending to franchises, commercial real estate, commercial and industrial, and construction lending.
Before joining RCB, DaLomba was the Director of Credit, Collections and Loan Servicing Departments at Webster Five Cents Savings Bank. Prior to that, he worked as a Portfolio Manager at Sovereign Bank and a Credit Analyst at Transamerica Distribution Finance. DaLomba holds a Master of Business Administration from Bryant University and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Rhode Island College.
“I came to RCB for the opportunity and the culture,” DaLomba said. “I see great promise within the Credit Department and am excited about Commercial Lending’s growth potential.”

DaLomba has been involved in several organizations, including Junior Achievement. He has also served as Loan Executive for United Way and was a member of the Finance Committee for the Town of Uxbridge. John currently lives in Sutton, MA where he enjoys running, having completed several marathons.
