SCAM ALERT: Be very careful if your phone suddenly stops working or you get messages about changes you didn’t make — it could be a scam called SIM swapping, where criminals steal your phone number (through phishing, social media, or data breaches) and gain access to your bank accounts by contacting your mobile carrier's customer service, claiming your phone is lost or damaged, and requesting your phone number be transferred to a new SIM card they control. If this happens to you, please contact your phone company and the bank right away.

Veterans Banking Benefits Program

RCB is proud to support our servicemembers through the Veterans Banking Benefits Program (VBBP). As a participating organization, we make the following benefits available to veterans:

  • A low-to-no cost (with no monthly maintenance fee and no minimum monthly balance) checking account to a VA benefit recipient who brings a monthly direct deposit to the institution.
  • A VA benefit recipient who does not currently qualify to open an account. At the bank’s discretion, this assistance can be provided through financial products, education, and/or counseling.
  • Accept Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) identification (ID) and a VA Homeless Coordinator’s office address to open a checking or savings account for Veterans who are homeless, formerly homeless, or simply do not have a permanent address.

The VBBP also provides free financial and credit counseling, access to free financial education through VetCents, and encourages Veterans to save through the Veteran Saves program.

VetCents
