Reading Cooperative Bank Welcomes Pedro Rentas as AVP, Branch Service Officer

Reading, MA – Reading Cooperative Bank (RCB) is pleased to announce the hiring of Pedro Rentas as our new AVP, Branch Service Officer in Lawrence. Rentas brings a wealth of experience across banking, finance, and leadership roles, having previously served as a Relationship Banker, Relationship Manager, Assistant Manager, Team Leader, and Branch Manager.

“I’m excited about the opportunity to serve the Lawrence community through banking,” Rentas remarked. “This new role combines my love of analytical thinking, problem solving, and relationship building to create a meaningful, lasting impact.”

Rentas’s commitment to service extends beyond the workplace. He is a proud graduate of Northern Essex Community College, where he recently completed his business degree with honors and served as Student Government President. He’s also an advocate for Spanish speaking communities, a volunteer with the American Red Cross, and holds a Mental Health First Aid certification. In addition, he creates motivational and cooking content for a TikTok community of over 120,000 followers and is currently studying American Sign Language while preparing to continue his education at UMass Lowell.

In addition to his professional background in banking, Rentas also has a unique and dynamic history as a radio and television host in the Dominican Republic an experience that has shaped his exceptional communication skills and passion for community engagement.

Born in San Pedro de Macorís and raised in Higüey, Dominican Republic, Rentas now resides in Haverhill, MA with his husband, Jesse, his father, their Siberian Husky, and 15 fish. He is the youngest of six siblings and credits his strong sense of family and values to the tight-knit community that raised him.
