Beneficial Owner Information
The federal government is making changes to the collection of beneficial owner information (BOI) which you certify each time you open a bank account for your business.
Instead of certifying BOI at account opening, you will now be required to file the information with the federal government directly. The purpose of collecting BOI is to promote transparency in the ownership of businesses for our law enforcement community.
