The Town of Reading has partnered with Reading Cooperative Bank to create an emergency fund to aid the victims displaced last week at the General Washington Apartments at 625 Main Street in Reading. Through its Charitable Foundation, the bank will collect tax-deductible* donations and donate them to the Town to distribute to the residents of the 39 units that have been forced out of their homes until repairs can be done.
If you would like to make a tax-deductible* donation of any amount, there are three ways you may do so:

Once added, you will be sent to the Manage Transfers tab:
You may add a description that will remind you why that amount was deducted from your account - this will appear on your bank statement.
