Reading Co-operative Bank To Host a Free Savings Seminar About Savings and its Importance
Reading, MA – On October 22nd, Reading Co-operative Bank will be hosting a FREE Savings Seminar at their 180 Haven Street Branch in Reading. The seminar will be presented by Antonio DeGirolamo, who has presented to freshmen advisory classes on savings at Reading Memorial High School as an assignment for the Retail Banking Course taught by Mike Foley, Branch Manager. Antonio will be presenting to middle school students and their parents the importance and “how to’s” of savings. The presentation will include a perspective on how much teens spend on clothing, personal tips to start saving, and what to save for. Following the presentation, RCB will be hosting a game of banking jeopardy to get teens and their parents involved.
“What a great way and fun way to learn about savings from someone who is close to their age. Students will benefit from this presentation and have these savvy strategies and importance lessons with them for a lifetime,” says Mike Foley, Reading Co-operative Bank at Reading Memorial High School Branch Manager.
