.READING, MA- Recently, employees of Reading Co-operative Bank donated to support the Wilmington Community Fund for their Dress Down for Charity Day program. The Wilmington Community Fund (WCF) offers relief to Wilmington families and individuals by providing basic needs such as heat, light, utilities, emergency assistance, and medical relief. The organization also offers a food pantry on a bi-weekly basis, a scholarship program, and coordinates efforts annually to provide festive holiday events for many Wilmington families.
"It was nice to be able to support the Wilmington Community Fund, which provides so much for the families of Wilmington. It makes for a fun Friday when we can help out a great organization and wear jeans to work," says Laura Tyrrell, Assistant Branch Manager of the Wilmington branch at 352 Middlesex Ave.
