Burbank YMCA Students Get a Lesson in Saving
READING, MA- Reading Co-operative Bank recently hosted 22 students from the Burbank YMCA Coolidge Middle School Out of School Time Program for a branch tour and a lesson about saving. At 3:45 p.m., students arrived at the Bank’s 180 Haven Street branch. Students in the group ranged from 5th to 7th grade. After a tour of the bank branch, the students watched a presentation from Antonio DeGirolamo, a Marketing Assistant at the Bank, to learn about the importance of saving money. The students were engaged and involved in the conversation, offering input into their saving habits and spending goals.
“The children from the Burbank YMCA Coolidge Middle School “Out of School Time” Program learned a lot about money management and saving at Reading Co-operative Bank.
