Reading Cooperative Bank Makes Charitable Donation to Woburn Council of Social Concern Inc.

June 15, 2015 READING, MA - Reading Cooperative Bank is pleased to announce its recent donation to the Woburn Council of Social Concern. The donation will be used to assist the Council in the updating its software programs, as well as continuing to serve those in need throughout the Woburn community.

“The Woburn Council of Social Concern continues to have a tremendous impact on people in the Woburn area. They offer a variety of different programs, all of which promote the general well-being of others. We are glad to play a role in the Woburn Council of Social Concern’s continued dedication to serve others,” says Reading Cooperative Bank’s Woburn Branch Manager, Danny Walbourne.

The Woburn Council of Social Concern, Inc., founded in 1969, strives to promote a sense of neighborliness in the Woburn area by providing affordable childcare and housing to those in need. Through a number of different initiatives, such as the Children’s Center, the Family Childcare System, and their own food pantry, this organization is able to accomplish their mission of helping others.
