Reading Co-operative Bank donates to Angel Flight NE
READING, MA - November 2012 The Reading Co-operative Charitable Fund has donated $5,000 to support Angel Flight Northeast, a volunteer corps of over 1,000 private pilots and volunteers who fly or transport sick patients and their families to locations where they can receive the health care they need.
Angel Flight NE provides air transportation in private aircraft by volunteer pilots so that patients of all ages may access life-saving medical care, free of charge. Reading Co-operative Bank has been a long-time supporter of Angel Flight NE.
“We admire the work that Angel Flight NE does and RCB is happy to contribute to such a selfless cause. Everyone deserves to have the medical attention they need without worrying about distance or cost, and Angel Flight NE helps to make that a reality,” says Shanna Cahalane, AVP of Marketing at Reading Co-operative Bank.
