Employees of Reading Co-operative Bank Donate to People’s Pantry
READING, MA- Recently, employees of Reading Co-operative Bank donated to support the North Parish Unitarian Universalist Church People’s Pantry in North Andover. The food pantry is run solely by volunteers who pick up the food from the Merrimack Valley Food Bank, sort and distribute the food items to visitors, and spend time with the families.
“The Andover branch staff, along with all other RCB employees, is happy to be able to provide a donation to the People’s Pantry. As a local bank it is important for us to take an active role in giving back to the community and this is a great way to support our fellow community members,” says Sasha DiPietro, Banking Specialist at RCB’s Andover branch.
The pantry is open bi-weekly on Tuesdays from 9:30-11:00 a.m and is open to anyone in need. They welcome food donations, gift cards, and monetary support. Visit northparish.org for more information.
