May 8, Andover, Mass. Reading Co-operative Bank located at 20 Central Street donates to a Better Chance of Andover as a part of Dress Down Days in the month of March. Nancy Vogler (left), president of A Better Chance of Andover, gratefully accepted a donation from Gladys Martinez, Andover branch manager of Reading Co-operative Bank. Also present was Joel Vinas, bank specialist.
Every month, Reading Co-operative Bank employees nominate and vote to support an organization they believe is doing great work in the community. Then, for a $5 donation to the featured charity, employees are invited to wear casual attire on the first Friday of the month. The Reading Co-operative Charitable Foundation matches all donations from the employees, doubling the amount of the gift. This month, A Better Chance of Andover was the recipient of RCB’s Dress Down Day donation.
